Learn About CATALYST

For us, it’s a double-win. The products have been really easy to use, and our Omnipress team is extremely easy and fun to work with.

Michele Saunders, Conference Coordinator, International Crisis Intervention Team

Challenge: Simplify the online submission process with scalable technology for a growing conference.

The CIT International Annual Conference, featuring over 100 workshops, brings together community members to learn from each other on how to continually improve response in mental health crisis situations. Over the past several years, the conference has experienced notable growth, currently serving over 1,400 participants. CIT’s process for managing workshop submissions using email attachments and an online web form had become more cumbersome with the growth of the conference.

Solution: CIT embraced our suite of conference products, including CATALYST, printing services, and mobile app.

CIT International ultimately chose CATALYST® by Omnipress because of its ability to streamline the entire process, from submission and review to conference scheduling and communication, all within one system. Additionally, CIT International, who had recently considered incorporating a mobile event app, liked the fact that Omnipress provided a fully-featured app that integrated directly with CATALYST. As an added bonus, Omnipress also provided the ability to produce a printed program book from the information collected in CATALYST.

Results: Less work, fewer errors. More time, more conference materials - print and digital.

With a more streamlined submission, review, and scheduling process in place, CIT International and their team of conference volunteers have saved a substantial amount of time while significantly reducing the risk of errors on their conference materials because they are working with one set of data in one system. Additionally, they were able to provide a mix of conference materials—both the app and the printed program book—to meet the needs of their attendees without adding a substantial amount of work to their own plate.
